Title |
ZNF281 inhibits neuronal differentiation |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
Derangement of cellular differentiation due to mutation or inappropriate expression of specific genes is a common feature in tumours. Here, we show that depletion of ZNF281 induces neuronal differentiation of neuroblastoma cells.

|
Overall design |
To investigate the effect of ZNF281 depletion on neuronal differentiation, we used microarray expression profiling to identify the genes with altered expression. Human neuroblastoma cells BE2(M17) were transiently knocked-down by RNA interference.
