Title |
Genome-wide mapping of H3K27ac marked regions during flower development |
Organism |
Arabidopsis thaliana |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Flower developmental stage specific genome-wide H3K27ac loci were mapped in this study. By quantifying the enrichment of H3K27ac modification at each stage, we revealed the dynamic landscape of H3K27ac during flower development. The dynamic of H3K27ac was found to contribute to stage specific gene expression. We found that H3K27ac always locate in proximal region of transcription starting sites but hardly appear in distal intergenic region.

Overall design |
In this study, we take advantage of an inducible flower development system,pAP1::AP1-GRap1cal,which allows to manipulate the developmental process of flower formation. Synchronized flower tissue of specific stage could be harvested, which provide the possibility to map stage-specific H3K27ac targets and study the dynamic of this modification across flower development.
