Title |
SNP genotyping of various breeds |
Organism |
Canis lupus familiaris |
Experiment type |
SNP genotyping by SNP array Genome variation profiling by SNP array
|
Summary |
SNP of new dog breeds improves the validity of population clustering and breed based phylogenies.
|
|
|
Overall design |
DNA was collected from pedigreed dogs of multiple breeds. SNPs were genotyed using the Illumina CanineHD SNP chip. These SNPs were analyzed using distance measures and haplotype sharing to build a cladogram of breeds and show across-breed hybridization.
