Title Aging imparts cell-autonomous dysfunction to regulatory T cells during recovery from influenza pneumonia [RNA-seq]
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Regulatory T (Treg) cells promote recovery from lung injury. Aging imparts cell-autonomous dysfunction to regulatory T cells during recovery from influenza pneumonia.

Overall design Flow cytometry sorted lung Treg cells (CD3e+CD4+CD25hiFR4+) from 2-month-old or 18-month-old C57BL/6 mice at baseline or following challenge with influenza A virus and harvested on day 60 post-infection. n = 5 biological replicates per group.
