Title Analysis of Scavenger-Receptor Type H deficient liver sinusoidal endothelial cells
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary Two of the most highly abundant transcripts in liver sinusoidal endothelial cells are Stab1 and Stab2, we investigated downstream effects on liver sinusoidal endothelial cells by disrupting their expression.
We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression in liver sinusoidal endothelial cells deficient for Scavenger-Receptor type H compared to Wildtype.

Overall design Mice aged 3-4 months (WT, Stab1KO, Stab2KO, Stab1/2DKO) were sacrificed, the liver was perfused and liver sinusoidal endothelial cells were isolated using CD146 magnetic beads. RNA was isolated immediately afterwards and prepared for microarray analysis.
