Title Single-nucleus and single-cell RNA-sequencing of human pancreatic islets

Summary Transcriptomics is frequently used to interrogate alterations in cultured human islet cells using single-cell RNA-sequencing. We introduce single-nucleus RNA-sequencing as an alternative approach for investigating human islets.
 
Overall design The Nuclei EZ protocol was used to obtain nuclear preparations from human islet cells. Such preparations were used to generate single-nucleus RNA-seq datasets and compared to single-cell RNA-seq output obtained from cells from the same donor.
