Title |
Effect of the gi-2 mutation on Arabidopsis thaliana gene expression |
Organism |
Arabidopsis thaliana |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
This study aimed to characterize the effect of GIGANTEA loss of function on gene expression in Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings genome-wide. To this end, transcriptomic analyses using high-throughput sequencing were carried out in Col-0 wildtype and gi-2 loss-of-function mutants.

|
Overall design |
Three biological replicates (n=40-60 seedlings each) of each wildtype (Col-0) and gi-2 seedlings were grown under short day photocycles for 7 days. Samples were collected at ZT 0 (whole seedlings).
