Title |
RNA sequencing of slgols2 tomato fruits |
Organism |
Solanum lycopersicum |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
To explore the molecular mechanism via which the galactinol synthase 2 (slgols2) affects Chl accumulation and chloroplast development, the RNA-seq experiment was conducted using slgols2 mutant and WT tomato fruits.

|
Overall design |
We used CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology to create the slgols2 mutation. RNA sequencing of WT tomato (Solanum lycopersicum cv. Ailsa Craig) and slgols2 tomato pericarps of the shoulder at 30 DPA.
