Title |
LCMV-Armstrong spleen day 5, rep2 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
LCMV-Armstrong-infected_spleen harvested on day 5
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Characteristics |
strain: C57BL6 age: 6-10 weeks infected with: LCMV Armstrong tissue: spleen harvest time point: day 5
Treatment protocol |
Mice were infected intravenously via the retro-orbital sinus with 2x10^6 plaque forming unites of LCMV-Armstrong or LCMV-Clone 13.
Growth protocol |
Six-ten week old mice were used for all experiments, and were housed under pathogen-free conditions.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Harvested spleens were frozen in RNA Later (Qiagen) at 1 mg/ml tissue. Whole spleens were homogenized, and RNA from homogenates were isolated with Rneasy extraction kit (Qiagen).
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
Ambion WT labeling kit
Hybridization protocol |
Affymetrix Mouse Genes ST 1.0 microarray
Scan protocol |
Affymetrix Expression Console
Description |
5209A Gene expression data from spleens harvested at day 5, from LCMV-Armstrong infected C57BL7 mice aged 6-10 weeks
Data processing |
Expression values were subjected to RMA normalization using Affymetrix CDF probeset definition and GeneSpringGX v7.3.1. Relative expression levels for each probeset were calculated by normalization to the median value for all uninfected samples
