Description |
Restricting the diet of mice by 2/3 results in a loss of lung gas exchange units( alveoli) after calorie restriction within 3 days. Re-feeding results in alveolar regeneration within the same amount of time. The purpose of this project is to observe the overall gene expression in the lung within the first 3 -6 hours following r-efeeding after a 14 day calorie-restricted diet.
