Title Colorectal Adenoma tissue_rep14
Sample type RNA

Source name Colorectal Cancer_tissue
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics tissue: cancer tissue
gender: Male
age: 79
location: colon
Stage: 1
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted from frozen tissues using the TRIzol RNA isolation reagent (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Label Cy3
Label protocol Samples were labeled with Cy3 dye using the miRNA Complete Labeling System & Hyb Kit (Agilent Technologies)

Hybridization protocol The fluorescent labeled samples were hybridized to the Human miRNA microarray Version 3 from the Sanger database v12.0 (Agilent Technologies)
Scan protocol The microarray slides were analyzed with an Agilent Microarray Scanner.
Description miRNA expression of colorectal cancer tissue
23C
Data processing microRNA microarray raw data were normalized with the GeneSpring GX software, version 11.5 (Silicon Genetics, Redwood City, CA, USA). Measured microRNAs were estimated as present if their signals could be detected in at least 50% of the samples within each sample type. Finally, the expression profiles of 96 microRNAs were acquired.
