P60 mice were euthanized and tissue immediately dissected, transferred to eppendorfs and snap frozen in liquid nitrogen. Tissues were stored at -80C to be subsequently processed for total RNA extraction.

Following fragmentation, 10 ug of cRNA per sample were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on Affymetrix MG-430 PM Array Strips. Strips were washed and stained using the Affymetrix GeneAtlas Fluidics Station.
