Growth protocol Seeds of each line were surface sterilized with 70% ethanol followed by 0.1 % HgCl2 with repeated rinses with Mili-Q water, and were allowed to imbibe in water for 16 h. The seedlings were grown for fourteen days on half-strength MS basal at 28±1oC.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Trizol extraction of total RNA of roots was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label Biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated aRNA were prepared according to the revised 3' IVT Affymetrix protocol from 500ng total RNA.
 
Hybridization protocol Following fragmentation, 12.5 ug of aRNA were hybridized for 16 h at 450C on GeneChip Rice Genome Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.
Scan protocol GeneChips were scanned using the Affymetrix Gene Chip Scanner 3300.
Description Gene expression data of roots of OsFBK1-OE 14-day-old Pusa Basmati-1 seedling
Data processing First-order analysis was performed using Affymetrix Gene Chip Operating (GCOS) software 1.2.1. Normalization of data and differential expression analysis was done using Expression Console 1.4.1.46 (Affymetrix).
