cDNA were prepared according to the Nugen Ovation PicoSL WTA System V2 kit protocol from 10 ng total RNA (Ovation PicoSL WTA System V2 Manual, P/N M01226 v4). Subsequently, Biotinylated cDNA were prepared according to the Nugen Encore Biotin Module from 3.75 ug of cDNA (Encore Biotin Module Manual, P/N M01111 v6)

Hybridization protocol |
Following Labeling procedure, 3.75 ug of biotinylated cDNA were hybridized at 48C – WT on Human Gene ST 2.1 strip arrays, and were washed and stained using the Affymetrix Gene Atlas system (software version 1.0.4.267)

Data processing |
Data was analyzed using the limma and oligo Bioconductor packages implemented in the R-statistical environment version 3.3.0. RMA was used to fit log2 transformed expression values
