Total RNA extracted using Trizol following manufacturer's instructions, and CTAB extraction to Remove Melanin

Label protocol Cy5-labeled control and Cy3-labeled experimental cRNA probes were generated from 200 ng of RNA using Agilent Technologies Low Input Quick Amp Labeling Kit according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Scan protocol Microarray slides were scanned using an Axon GenePix 4200AL scanner at 10-μm pixel size (Axon Instruments, Union City, California, USA)
The scanned images were analyzed using feature extraction software (Agilent)
Description Biological replicate 3 of 3,swarming mosquito
Data processing gProcessedSignal and rProcessedSignal from Agilent feature extraction output files were imported into Partek and quantile normalized and log2 transformed.
