Treatment protocol Each mouse was anesthetized, transcardially perfused with saline, and hippocamppus was isolated quickly, preserved at –80°C until RNA preparation.
Growth protocol Each mouse was maintained in SPF condition and sacrificed at 18 months of age.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was isolated using Isogen (Nippon Gene) according to the manufacturers’ instructions.
Label biotin
Label protocol GeneChip® WT PLUS Reagent Kit (Affymetrix) was used to generate amplified and biotinylated sense-strand DNA targets from expressed transcripts (100 ng of total RNA).
 
Hybridization protocol Following fragmentation, 5.5 µg of cDNA were hybridized for 17 hr at 45℃ on Affymetrix Mouse Gene 2.0 ST Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix GeneChip Fluidics Station 450.
Scan protocol GeneChips were scanned using the Affymetrix GeneChip® Scanner 3000 7G.
Description 18 month-old male mouse
Data processing CEL files were imported into the Transcriptome Analysis Console (TAC) Software 4.0 and CHP files were generated.
