Sample GSM465414 Query DataSets for GSM465414
Status Public on Oct 27, 2009
Title HZ-1
Sample type RNA

Source name growth plate chondrocytes, hypertrophic zone
Organism Bos taurus
Characteristics cell type: growth plate chondrocytes, hypertrophic zone
age: < 10 months
gender: male
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA was extracted from cells using RNA STAT-60 (Tel-Test, Inc.) per the manufacturer’s instructions. Samples were analyzed with an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer to confirm RNA integrity.
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cRNA were prepared using the MessageAmp II-Biotin Enhanced Kit from Ambion

Hybridization protocol Following fragmentation, hybridization was performed according to standard Affymetrix (Santa Clara, CA) protocols (http://www.affymetrix.com/support/technical/manuals/affx).
Scan protocol GeneChips were scanned at high resolution using an Affymetrix GeneChip Scanner 3000.
Description HZ-1
Data processing Results were analyzed using GeneSpring GX version 7.2 software (Agilent Technologies, Redwood City, CA). Data, chip and genes were normalized in three stages (log transformed raw data < .01 set to .01, global normalization to the 50th percentile, followed by gene level normalization) using the recommended GeneSpring default settings for data transformation.
