Sample GSM501716 Query DataSets for GSM501716
Status Public on Apr 25, 2010
Title CD4_totalRNA_RNAseq
Sample type SRA

Source name CD4+ T cells, RNA_Seq
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics cell type: CD4+ T cell
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol CD4+ T cells were purified from human blood using human CD4+ T cell isolation kit II kits (Miltenyi).
Total RNAs were prepared using miRNeasy kit from Qiagen. rRNA was depleted from total RNA by hybridization to biotinylated oligonucleotides using Invitrogen Ribominus kit. The resulting RNAs were reverse-transcribed using random primers, converted to double-stranded cDNAs, sonicated and ligated to Solexa adaptors for sequencing.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina Genome Analyzer II

Description RNA-seq experiment for total RNA in CD4+ cells
Data processing Illumina Genome Analyzer Pipeline produced short sequence reads that were matched to the hg18 human genome using ELAND alignment algorithm.
