Sample GSM577114 Query DataSets for GSM577114
Status Public on Oct 20, 2010
Title rrf-3_him-8_ssRNALigSeq
Sample type SRA

Source name whole adult male
Organism Caenorhabditis elegans
Characteristics tissue: whole adult male
genotype: rrf-3(pk1426);him-8(e1489)
strain: PD3330
rna-seq method: ssRNALigSeq
developmental stage: adult
gender: male
Extracted molecule polyA RNA
Extraction protocol single-strand-capture, double-strand-capture, and circligase-based RNA-seq

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina Genome Analyzer II

Description n/a
Data processing The processed data files in fasta format contain the parsed RNA reads for each sample (without 5' barcode sequence). The raw files each correspond to a single lane of sequence sequences. The 5’ barcode was trimmed from the barcoded samples and the homopolymer A tail was trimmed from all reads that were obtained using the CircLigSeq method. Identical sequences were collapsed in each sample to avoid PCR "jackpots".
