Treatment protocol Upon full differentiation (4 weeks), cells have been treated with IL-13 (50ng/ml) and harvested 24h post stimulation
Growth protocol bronchial epithelial cells were maintained in BEGM medium (Lonza), diluted 1:1 with DMEM containing 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) in humidified atmosphere with 5% CO2 at 37C

Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted with RNeasy Plus Micro Kit (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany), according to manufacturers protocol.
Samples with RNA integrity greater than 9.0 were chosen for library preparation with the TruSeq Stranded mRNA Sample Prep Kit (Illumina, San Diego, California), according to manufacturers protocol.
