Sample GSM6925697 Query DataSets for GSM6925697
Status Public on Jan 15, 2023
Title m.pectoralis sample, trained [RNA_S3848Nr7]
Sample type SRA

Source name skeletal muscle
Organism Columba livia
Characteristics tissue: skeletal muscle
treatment: case-trained
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol The total RNA was isolated using by TriReagent (Ambion, Life Technologies) and according to the method described by ChomczyƄski (Chomczynski 1993).
RNA libraries for RNA-seq were prepared using TruSeq RNA Library Prep Kit following manufacturer's protocols.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina NovaSeq 6000

Data processing Illumina bcl2fastq (2.20)
Quality Control FastQC v0.11.5
Adapters were trimmed, reads of low quality (<20) and under the length of 36 bp were removed with the use of Flexbar software
The reads were mapped with STAR software to Colliv 2.1 genome and counted with the use of htseq-count software to the respective gtf file.
Deseq2 was used to find differentially expressed genes.
Assembly: 2.1_Colliv
Supplementary files format and content: counts
