RNA was harvested using the PureLink™ RNA Mini Kit (Invitrogen) according to the manufacturer’s instructions RNA libraries for RNA-seq were prepared using TruSeq Stranded mRNA LT Sample Prep Kit following manufacturer's protocols.

Illumina NovaSeq 6000 Sequenced RNA-sequencing reads were trimmed for adapter seuquence, and processed for eliminating artifacts such as contaminant DNA or PCR duplicates using Trimmomatic 0.38 with parameters SLIDINGWINDOW:4:15 TRAILING:3 LEADING:3 MINLEN:36. Trimmed reads were mapped to reference genome (UCSC GRCm38/mm10) using the Bowtie2 2.3.4.1 aligner. Fragments per kilobase of transcript per million mapped reads (FPKM) was estimated with StringTie for mus musculus genes. Assembly: mm10 Supplementary files format and content: GTF file contains the merged transcript annotations generated using StringTie
