Genomic DNA of amniotic fluid cells or peripheral blood sampling of the parents was extracted with using the QIAamp DNA Blood Mini Kit (Qiagen, Inc., Hilden, Germany) according to the manufacturer’s protocol.

ChAS console from Affymetrix was used to assess genome wide copy number frequencies. Log2 Ratio copy number values with associated chromosome positions are available on the series record. Per marker Log2 Ratio of normalized intensity with respect to a reference, with further correction for sample specific variation.
