Definition

A rare usually bilateral luteinized thecoma that arises from the ovary and is associated with sclerosing peritonitis. It occurs mostly in premenopausal women. The ovarian tumor is benign but patients may develop intestinal obstruction due to the sclerosing peritonitis. [from NCI]
