(Submitter supplied) The thermotolerant TTY23, acid tolerant AT22, and thermo-acid tolerant TAT12 yeast strains, generated by adaptive evolution experiments were grown at 30°C, pH 5.0 in the absence of acetic acid (optimal ancestral conditions). The mRNA of each strain was isolated and changes in expression were compared against the parental strain S288C.
