Comparative gene expression profiling of group-housed, less aggressive vs. single-housed, more aggressive male flies

Social isolation stress-induced aggression model

Analysis of heads of Canton-S males subjected to social isolation (single-housed). Social experience with conspecifics is an environmental influence on aggressiveness common to many species. Results provide insight into the molecular basis of the effect of social experience on aggressiveness.
