Phytophthora infestans miRNA translocation facilitates infection in potato

(Submitter supplied) Phytophthora spp. encode large sets of effector proteins and distinct populations of small RNAs (sRNAs). Reports suggest that pathogen-derived sRNAs can modulate the expression of plant defense genes.
