Bariatric surgery effect on obesity-related type 2 diabetes: whole blood

Analysis of whole blood from 11 obese subjects with type 2 diabetes (T2D), before and after bariatric surgery. Bariatric surgery resulted in weight loss and improved hyperglycemia for all subjects. Results provide insight into molecular basis for T2D susceptibility and/or therapeutic response.
