Acute promyelocytic leukemia

Analysis of bone marrow samples from 18 patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3 (Flt3) is mutated in 35 to 40% of APL cases. Results provide insight into the role of Flt3 mutations in the pathogenesis of APL.
