Summary |
Dying pancreatic cancer cells from chemoradiation can directly stimulate repopulation of surviving cells. We used microarrays to conduct the analysis of whole transcript profiles in pancreatic cancer cells treated with X-ray radiation.

Overall design |
Pancreatic cancer cells were seeded into culture plate overnight with 2% FBS in culture medium and then were irradiated with 10Gy using an Oncor linear accelerator. Irradiated pancreatic cancer cells were collected at 24h after X-ray radiation for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarray. We sought to obtain whole transcript profiles in pancreatic cancer cells treated with X-ray radiation.
