Summary |
Effects of food colorants in C. elegans gene expression is studied. Microarrays were used to analyze the global programme of gene expression underlying the lifespan change and identified distinct classes of up/down-regulated genes in animals treated with food colorants.

Overall design |
C. elegans young adults treated with Tartrazine and Ponceau Red from L1 stage were selected for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarray chips.
