Title scRNA-seq of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) of lipoma and bulk RNA-seq of lipoma-derived adipocytes.

Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary We determined the gene signatures of adipocytes differentiated from lipoma SVF. Furthermore, single-cell RNA-sequencing was performed for SVF from inherited (familial) and sporadic lipoma.
 
Overall design Patients undergoing surgical excision of lipomas were identified and the dermatologist clinically confirmed the diagnosis of lipoma. Tissues was enzymaticaly digested and SVF was obtained and diffrentiated in adipogenic media for 5-7 days before collection of the RNA.
