ITK-SYK induced peripheral T-cell lymphomas induce granulocyte activation

(Submitter supplied) ITK-SYK or control vector were overexpressed in Balb/c mice and ITK-SYK mice developed peripheral T-cell lymphomas within 5 weeks. CD4+ T-cells and granulocytes were harvested from the spleens of control and ITK-SYK mice and compared.

Expression data from pairwise non-tumor and tumor liver of -MYC and C-MYC/REG3A transgenic mice

(Submitter supplied) Antimicrobial proteins of the REG3 family represent, like a wide variety of C-type lectins to which they belong, the first line of protection against infections and transformed cells. Their expression is inducible, particularly in response to inflammation, making their role in cancer biology less clear and controversial, as an immune-inflammation background may pre-exist or co-exist. We show that REG3A presents a suppressive role of REG3A in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in a mouse models of HCC driven by c-MYC. more...

Expression data from WT and Neu1 deficient 1 mo and 5 mo hippocampi

(Submitter supplied) Microarray data was used to assess progressive upregulation of genes during course of disease in Neu1 deficient mice and use for GSEA studies to assess upregulated pathways. Top upregulated genes often belonged to the myeloid lineage. Data was used to guide assessment of the neuroinflammatory response that occurs in Neu1 deficient hippocampi.

Regulatory T cells crosstalk with tumor and endothelium through lymphotoxin signaling [array]

(Submitter supplied) Tregs with multifaceted functions suppress anti-tumor immunity by signaling surrounding cells. Tregs use the surface LTa1b2 to preferentially stimulate LTbR nonclassical NFkB signaling on both tumor and LECs to accelerate tumor growth and metastasis. Selectively targeting LTβR nonclassical NFkB pathways on both tumors and LECs cocultured with Tregs, inhibits tumor growth and migration in vitro. Leveraging in vivo Treg LTa1b2 interactions with LTβR on tumor and LECs, transfer of WT but not LTa-/- Tregs promotes B16F10 melanoma growth and tumor cell-derived chemokines in LTβR-/- mice; and increases SOX18 and FLRT2 in lymphatic vessels of LTbR-/-melanoma. more...

Hepatic Gene Expression Induced by CREB-H-ΔTC

(Submitter supplied) The cAMP-response element binding protein H (CREB-H) is a transcription factor expressed in liver and intestinal tissues. It is well known for regulating many lipid and glucose metabolism genes. Our group aimed to screen for additional or potential genes that may be downstream of CREB-H transcription. To prevent inaccuracy arisen from endogenous CREB-H expression, we used CREB-H-knockout (CREB-H KO) mice for this study.

Oncogenic Kras G12D activation in the non-hematopoietic bone marrow microenvironment causes myelodyplastic syndrom in mice

(Submitter supplied) The bone marrow microenvironment is key player in the regulation and maintenance of hematopoiesis and is also involved in the pathogenesis of hematologic malignancies. We investigated the effect of KrasG12D expression in the non-hematopoietic bone marrow microenvironment. Therefore, we generated chimeric mice which express oncogenic Kras only in the non-hematopoietic system. Within 6-8 weeks, these mice developed a myelodysplastic syndrome characterized by cytopenia, myeloid expansion and signs of disturbed differentiation and marked dysplasia within the myeloid lineage. more...

Aging-associated increase in Golgi stress disturbs cellular signaling and epigenetic regulation

(Submitter supplied) The process of aging is associated with disturbed mineral homeostasis, such as zinc deficiency. Simultaneously, cellular response to external stimuli, including receptor signaling and DNA repair response diminishes, and epigenetic dysregulation occurs. The Golgi apparatus plays various roles in the cell; however, the effect of aging on the morphology and function of the Golgi apparatus and the impact of Golgi senescence in cellular activity remains unknown. more...

Gene expression profile with the p38 inhibitor treatment

(Submitter supplied) Mice bone marrow cells induced dendritic cells were treated with a p38 inhibitor, we used Microgenearry to analyze the dendritic cell-related gene expression, which was induced by a p38 inhibitor. Mice were treated with CAR-T cells with or without p38 inhibitor treatment, we used Microgenearry to analyze the dendritic cell-related gene expression in the tumor environment. Tumor tissues (~100 mg/mouse, 12 days after ACT) were harvested and total RNA was extracted with the RNeasy Mini kit (Qiagen).

Transcriptomic analysis of mammary tumor biospy from MMTV-ErbB2 transgenic mice [Doxorubicin]

(Submitter supplied) The tyrosine kinase ErbB2 positive breast tumors have more aggressive tumor growth, poorer clinical outcome, and more resistance to radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy. To identify the biomarkers for predicting the responses to chemotherapy, we treated genetically diverse F1 backcross (F1Bx) mice between C57BL/6J and FVB/N MMTV-Erbb2 transgenic mice with mammary tumor by doxorubicin. Biopsies were taken in sterile conditions and processed for RNA and histological analysis before treatment. more...

Effects of Irbesartan on Gene Expression Profiles in Kidney Tissues of Diabetic db/db Mice

(Submitter supplied) Diabetic nephropathy(DN) is a common diabetic microvascular complication, Irbesartan is the first-line drug for clinical treatment of diabetic nephropathy, but its pharmacological mechanism and target are not yet fully clear. We used microarrays to explore the global profile of gene expression for better understanding the action mechanism of irbesartan in alleviating renal injuries of diabetic db/db mice

Microarray data, 4 week HFD/NCD, nostim or 16hrstim

(Submitter supplied) How autoimmunity is initiated in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is unknown, but both genetic and environmental factors have been implicated. Female physiology is associated with a three times higher risk of MS and the ratio of woman to men diagnosed with MS has been increasing over time, suggesting that environmental factors are interacting with female sex to initiate this disease. One MS risk factor that has been increasing that interacts with female sex is obesity. more...

Diurnal gene expression profiles in mouse brain tissues constituting the central dopamine system

(Submitter supplied) The circadian regulation of gene expression underlies orchestrated daily rhythms in physiology, metabolism, and behavior. The central dopamine (DA) system arising from DA neurons in the ventral midbrain has been implicated in a wide range of brain functions. Growing evidence suggests that DA transmission follows daily oscillations at multiple regulatory steps, and its dysfunction is closely related to the onset of various neuropsychiatric diseases. more...

Microarray analysis of regenerating parietal cells (PCs) in murine gastric epithelium recovering from Diphtheria toxin injury

(Submitter supplied) Highly specialized, acid-secreting PCs are one of many epithelial lineages that line the gastric epithelium. Even though PCs are functionally and structurally distinct from other lineages in the stomach, the molecular mechanisms that govern their specification and maturation from the gastric stem cells are relatively unknown. We used microarray analysis to interrogate transcriptional changes that occur in regenerating PCs and to identify candidate regulators of PC fate specification and maturation.

Differential Expression Data from Mice 24hrs after stroke

(Submitter supplied) Microglial activation after stroke may lead to development of inflammation-induced brain damage. Here we uncover a ribosome-based mechanism/check point involved in control of the innate immune response and microglial activation orchestrated by RNA binding protein SRSF3. Using an in vivo model-system for analysis of the dynamic translational state of microglial ribosomes with mRNAs as input and newly synthesized peptides as an output, we found a marked dissociation of microglia mRNA and protein signatures following ischemic stroke. more...
