GAS41 over-expression in Saos2 Tet-Off cells

(Submitter supplied) Transcription initiation in eukaryotes by RNA polymerase II requires numerous general and regulatory factors including the general transcription factors. Here, we report a new cofactor of the general transcription factor IIF, GAS41, which was previously implicated in tumor development. Transcription factor IIF cofactor GAS41 overexpression

Analysis of SaoS2 cells overexpressing GAS41, a cofactor of the general transcription factor IIF. GAS41 expression from a tet-off vector was suppressed by the addition of doxycycline. Results provide insight into the role of GAS41 in eukaryotic transcription initiation.
