(Submitter supplied) Turkey embryos are very sensitive to perturbations in energy metabolism because they have a wider hatching window than chicken embryos. Mortality of turkey embryos during late-term incubation is high relative to chickens, and many surviving hatchlings have compromised vitality. Intestinal maturation at hatch is also crucial to survival and post-hatch performance. (Submitter supplied) 1.70-mer oligos synthetized by Operon Biothechnologies Inc. Oligos were resuspended in Tris buffer; 250 µM of each oligo was added to a well of a 384-well plate and dried. 2. Oligos were resuspended in Universal Spotting Solution (Corning, Inc) 3. Seal plates with Corning seals. 4. Shake plate at mid speed on plate vortexer for 1 minute. 5.
