Mating-type specific gene expression in the filamentous ascomycete Neurospora tetrasperma

(Submitter supplied) Neurospora tetrasperma is a pseudohomothallic filamentous ascomycete with a large (~ 7 Mbp) region of suppressed recombination surrounding its mating-type (mat) locus.
