Gene expression in the tail tissue of tadpoles [Rana pirica] by larvae salamander or dragon fly

(Submitter supplied) Tadpoles of the anuran species Rana pirica can undergo predator-specific morphological responses. Exposure to a predation threat by larvae of the salamander Hynobius retardatus results in formation of a bulgy body (bulgy morph) with a higher tail. Whereas, dragon fly also induced higher tail tadpole. The tadpoles revert to a normal phenotype upon removal of the larval salamander or dragon fly threat. more...

[Xenopus_laevis] Affymetrix Xenopus laevis Genome Array

(Submitter supplied) Affymetrix submissions are typically submitted to GEO using the GEOarchive method described at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/projects/geo/info/geo_affy.html The Affymetrix GeneChip Xenopus laevis Genome Array can be used to study gene expression of over 14,400 Xenopus laevis transcripts. Sequence information for this array was selected from the following public data sources: GenBank (release 135.0, April 2003), dbEST (June 2003), and UniGene (Build 36, June 2003). more...
