Morchella importuna SI transcriptome raw sequence

(Submitter supplied) Sclerotial formation is one of the most important phases during the morel life cycle, and previous reports indicated that reactive oxygen species (ROS) play an important role in sclerotial formation. However, the mechanisms of ROS response in sclerotial initiation (SI) stage are poorly understood.

Blue light exposure and nutrient conditions influence the expression of genes involved in simultaneous hyphal knot formation in Coprinopsis cinerea.

(Submitter supplied) To identify genes express in earliest stage of fruiting body initiation in Coprinopsis cinerea, strain #326 (AmutBmut haploid fruiting strain), genes expressed at 0, 0.5, 1, 3h after light exposure were compared by Super-SAGE Approximately, 1 million tags were sequenced from each mycelial sample to obtain 65,535 unique tags. First, we made matches between the tags and predicted genes of the WT strain, and 24.4% tags matched to predicted genes. more...

The carbon starvation response of Aspergillus niger during submerged cultivation

(Submitter supplied) Filamentous fungi are confronted with changes and limitations of their carbon source during growth in their natural habitats and during industrial applications. To survive life-threatening starvation conditions, carbon from extra- and intracellular resources becomes mobilized to fuel fungal self-propagation. Key to understand the underlying cellular processes is the system-wide analysis of fungal starvation responses in a temporal and spatial resolution. more...

A comparative transcriptome analysis reveals physiological maturation properties of mycelia in Pleurotus tuoliensis

(Submitter supplied) Pleurotus tuoliensis is a precious edible fungus with extremely high nutritive and medicinal value. The cultivation period of P. tuoliensis is longer than those of other Pleurotus species, which is mainly due to a longer mycelium physiological maturation period (30-60 days). Currently, the molecular processes underlying physiological maturation of the mycelium remain unclear. We performed a comparative transcriptomic analysis of immature and mature mycelia using RNA-seq. more...

Transcriptome sequence of hTERT-HPNE and PANC-1 cells upon hydrogen peroxide treatment

(Submitter supplied) To explore the whole transcriptional regulation of lncRNA and mRNA expression in hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) signaling, we used human pancreatic normal epithelial cell line hTERT-HPNE and pancreatic cancer cell line PANC-1 for H2O2 treatment and utilized transcriptome sequence to analyze the change of lncRNA and mRNA transcripts. Then we predicted the potential transcription factor for these significantly changed transcripts.
