This Affymetrix array tiles the Arabidopsis genome end to end using in situ synthesized 25 bp oligonucleotides. The January 2002 version of the Arabidopsis genome sequence was used to make these chips and the position coordinates in the table refer to this version of the sequence. Six chips were required to tile one strand of the genome. This chip tiles the opposite strand of the sequence of Chromosome 2 (GenBank accession # NC_003071.1 GI:15224037) from base 9,108,426 to base 19,643,621 (end) and Chromosome 3 (GenBank accession # NC_003074.2 GI:18426881) from base 1 to base 8,826,800. Position coordinates in table refer to the accession(s) listed above and are the same for each pair of forward (chip, WGA 1-3) and opposite strand oligos (this chip WGA 1-rc-3), so the position listed in the table is the position of base 25 (5-prime to three-prime) of the opposite strand oligo.
Features that have no sequence information represent positioning grids/checkerboards or random sequence controls.
