A cervical adenocarcinoma in which 0-50% of malignant cells contain intracytoplasmic mucin. It is the most common subtype of cervical adenocarcinoma and represents 75% of all invasive cervical adenocarcinomas. The neoplastic epithelium shows a pseudostratified architecture and the malignant cells have enlarged, elongated, and hyperchromatic nuclei.
