Rice seedling hormone treatment

(Submitter supplied) Indica rice seedlings of IR64 variety were grown hydroponically for 7-days in a culture room with a daily photoperiodic cycle of 14h light and 10h dark. Seedlings were incubated in 0.1% dimethyl sulfoxide (control) or 50 micromolar solutions of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA treatment) and benzyl aminopurine (BAP treatment) for 1h and 3h. (Submitter supplied) Approximately 500 surface sterilized seeds of Arabidopsis seeds (ecotype: Col-0) were sterilely sown on filter disks overlaying solid ½ MS media 1% sucrose, stratified at 4C for 48 h and grown in darkness at 25C for 4 d. Difference in expression between SA- and mock-treated leaves 2 hours after application

(Submitter supplied) Arabidopsis plants, ecotype Columbia, were sprayed with surfactant alone (0.01% Silwet) or surfactant and 1mM salicylic acid until all leaves were wet, 3 to 4 weeks after germination (before flowering).
