Title The MEF2C oncogene opposes Notch signalling in T versus B lineage decision and drives leukemia in the thymus context [array]
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary Overexpression of the oncogene MEF2C oposses NOTCH signalling in T versus B lineage decision, driving leukemia in the thymus context

Overall design LOUCY cell lines under multiple conditions are used for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. Overexpression of MEF2C in the presence and absence of NOTCH stimuli, provides insight in MEF2C function in opposing NOTCH signalling in T-cell differentiation. Mimicing the bi-phenotypic lymphoid tumors, resembling a human mixed phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL).
