Definition

A neoplastic, non-invasive lesion that affects the biliary epithelium. It is characterized by the presence of atypical epithelial cells with an increased nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio, nuclear hyperchromasia, and loss of nuclear polarity. [from NCI]
